www.TrainforHIPAA.com (the Web Site) is sponsored by Train for HIPAA. The Web Site is designed to provide you with on-line, interactive courses for training in HIPAA compliance, healthcare privacy, data security, and other related topics. The Train for HIPAA Policy explains how we may collect, use and aggregate personal information about you on the Web Site. Train for HIPAA respects your personal privacy and is committed to protecting it.

Your Acceptance of These Terms

By using the Web Site, you signify your acceptance of the terms of the Train for HIPAA Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of the Train for HIPAA Privacy Policy, please do not use the Web Site and exit the Web Site immediately. Submission of Enrollment and Payment Information to Train for HIPAA

The Web Site permits you to enroll and pay on-line for attendance at Train for HIPAA and related educational events. The enrollment form requires you to give us personally identifiable information, which includes your name, title, address, phone, fax and e-mail address (Contact Information). You may also make payment for enrollment through the Web Site by submitting credit card information (Payment Information). We use your Contact Information from the enrollment form to send you information about the course(s) for which you have enrolled and promotional material regarding upcoming courses, conferences and events. You may opt out of receiving such information upon receipt of the subsequent e-mail messages, and/or you may opt out at any time by sending us an e-mail (see the "Opt-Out Procedures" section below). We do not disclose Payment Information to third parties. We do share Contact Information with associations, organizations and publications which sponsor Train for HIPAA, and with the authors of the course(s) that you enroll in.

The Web Site contains links to other sites. Train for HIPAA is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites, including any sites that may indicate a special relationship or partnership with www.TrainforHIPAA.com, such as co-branded pages and "powered by" relationships. The Summit does not disclose Contact or Payment Information to those responsible for the linked sites. The linked sites, however, may collect personal information from you when you link to their site. This collecting of information is not subject to Train for HIPAA's control. To ensure protection of your privacy, always review the privacy policy of the sites you visit by linking from our Web Site.

Security

The Web Site has security measures in place to protect against the disclosure, loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. The Web Site uses VeriSign Secure Socket Layer in order to encrypt the transmission of Payment Information.

Notification of Changes

The Train for HIPAA Privacy Policy may be revised over time as new features are added to the Web Site or as Internet security and privacy standards evolve. We will post those changes prominently so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information and whether we will disclose it to anyone. We do, however, recommend that you read the Train for HIPAA Privacy Policy each time you use the Train for HIPAA site in case you missed our notice of changes to the Train for HIPAA Privacy Policy.

Correcting and Updating Information

Train for HIPAA also permits you to correct or update Contact and Payment Information that you have previously provided to us. To do so, send an e-mail to webmaster@TrainforHIPAA.com indicating the information that you wish to be corrected or updated.

Opt-Out Procedures

You may always opt-out of receiving future mailings or e-mails from us. To remove your Contact Information from our database, and to cancel future communications, send an e-mail to webmaster@TrainforHIPAA.com with the word "remove" in the subject line.
